What is Self Reliance?

So.... About 2 weeks ago. I got assigned to give a talk at church on Sunday November 8th, 2020. It will be our 2 Sunday back at church in person. Which is different since we haven't been back in person in probably almost 7 1/2 months. 

The topic that they gave me for my talk is on Self Reliance. What is interesting to me as I think about what to write and talk about this talk. I wonder how I can make a difference with what I talk about and not be so boring. One think I know for sure is that I have had taken the Self Reliance Budgeting class in person twice. In addition to that, I have learned some more about Self Reliance in one of our Pathways classes.

Even though I have learned about self reliance my whole life. I still feel like I am still learning about the topic and unsure about how I can give a talk about it. Gratefully I still have 5 days left to write the talk. Hopefully I will receive inspiration of what to write and speak about.
